A lightly quilted jacket in a dense burgundy and cream floral, cut loose with a round collarless neck and cream piping along every edge. It is the layer for the stretch of the year when a coat is too much and a jumper is not enough.
Loose on purpose
The fit is deliberately oversized: our model wears the M for the roomy look in the photos, so take your usual size for that shape and one down if you want it closer to the body. It goes over a t-shirt in April and over a jumper in October.
Light to wear, easy to keep
Polyester throughout, which is what keeps it light enough to wear all day and simple to look after. Two patch pockets on the front sit where your hands actually go. Wash it cold and hang it to dry, and the quilting keeps its loft.
