The Story of Lurea Mode
I'm Lurea. I'm 35, I've lived in Brampton my whole life, and Lurea Mode is the small clothing store I built — slowly, on weekends and evenings, over almost four years.
For most of my twenties and into my thirties, I worked as a manager for a fashion brand. It was steady. The kind of job that pays the bills and asks nothing else of you. I was grateful for it, and I knew, quietly, that it wasn't where I'd stay.
I'd always paid attention to clothes. Not in a fashion-blogger way — more in the way you look at someone across a room and notice that everything about her outfit makes sense. The cut. The colour. The fabric. The fact that she clearly hadn't had to fuss with it that morning.
In 2022, I started putting together a small edit of the kind of pieces I'd always wished I could buy. Dresses that worked for a dinner and a school pickup. Trousers that didn't crease the moment you sat down. Shoes you could actually walk in.
I picked everything myself. Photographed it against the white wall of my flat. Wrote every description by hand.
In 2023, I gave the brand a name — Lurea Mode — and let myself believe this was a real thing. The shop came two years later.
These days, I'm in the shop most days — sourcing every piece, writing every description, helping every customer who walks in find the thing that just feels right. On Saturdays, my five-year-old sometimes comes with me and rearranges the jewellery tray until she's satisfied.
Lurea Mode is for the woman who wants beautifully made clothes at honest prices. Pieces that last. Pieces that flatter. Pieces that don't pretend to be anything they're not.
Thank you for being here.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to bring women beautifully made clothes at honest prices — pieces designed to be worn often and kept for years.
We believe in clothing that is:
- timeless rather than trend-led
- well-made enough to last
- comfortable to live in
- quiet, considered, and easy to feel good in
OUR VISION
Our vision is to grow Lurea Mode into a trusted, lasting small boutique — the kind women come back to year after year.
In the long term, we aim to:
- curate carefully, not constantly
- keep prices honest as the brand grows
- offer an alternative to disposable, fast fashion
- earn trust slowly, one well-fitting piece at a time
